RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC [January 1, 2025] – Blue Line, a global leader in cleanroom computing technology, announced the establishment of its new subsidiary at Frontier RTP, the innovative coworking and office campus located in Hub RTP, Research Triangle Park (RTP)’s vibrant downtown destination. This strategic move strengthens the Danish IT hardware provider’s ability to better serve its expanding North American pharmaceutical and biotech customer base while enhancing collaboration within RTP’s thriving life sciences community.

“This expansion represents a transformative step for Blue Line’s global operations,” said Niels Pedersen, CEO of Blue Line. “With our growing presence in North America and increasing demand for our specialized IT solutions, establishing U.S. operations was the obvious next step. The concentration of life science companies and talent in Research Triangle Park makes it an ideal location for Blue Line’s continued growth.”

Centrally located within North America’s largest research park, more than one-third of RTP’s nearly 400 companies are located within the Frontier RTP campus, creating a dynamic and supportive community of life science companies, research institutions and startups.

“Blue Line’s commitment to cutting-edge technology perfectly embodies the spirit of innovation and collaboration that defines Research Triangle Park,” said Carolyn Coia, vice president of real estate for RTP. “Blue Line’s decision to grow in RTP reflects the strength of the Triangle region as a center for business development and innovation.”

The new subsidiary will enhance Blue Line’s ability to provide its industry-leading cleanroom tablet computers and mobile operator solutions. The company’s technology is already widely used by leading pharmaceutical manufacturers globally, and this expansion will enable faster deployment and enhanced support capabilities.

“North American customers have been instrumental in our growth, and this investment demonstrates our commitment to the market,” said Michael Asmussen, Business Development Manager for Blue Line. “By establishing operations in one of the world’s premier life science hubs, we’re positioning ourselves to better serve our customers and accelerate our innovation in regulated environment technology solutions.”
