This month our speakers will be talking sports, and not just the ‘Madness’ of college basketball. If you live in the Triangle, you’re no stranger to the competitive nature between area colleges and universities. Not to mention, the Carolina Hurricanes, the local curling team and the massive cricket league in the area. On top of it all, there’s a large sports entrepreneurship hub growing and a burgeoning sports medicine and rehab community. It all goes hand in hand when you start to think about it.

March Is Red Cross Month!
We’ve teamed up with the American Red Cross in honor of March being Red Cross Month to help raise funds for their great causes. You can visit our microsite and safely donate to disaster relief efforts and the funds will stay in our area! Any amount that you choose to give will help people in need during their time of hardship.

Bluebird Box Adoption

Seen a flash of blue around the Park? Eastern Bluebirds serve as a reminder that we do, in fact, work in an area full of natural beauty and many species. Bluebird nesting season starts up again this Spring and we would love your help to look over our little feathered friends. 40 bluebird boxes around the Park are up for nesting-season adoption by RTP employees. 1 Million Cups

Let’s share some coffee together! Come out and join your fellow entrepreneurs, mentors and startups-at-large for Kauffman Labs’ 1 Million Cups. The Research Triangle Park will be hosting Kauffman Foundation’s 1MC bi-weekly on Wednesdays, in partnership with LAUNCH Chapel Hill. IE: one week 1MC is at The Frontier in RTP the next it’s at LAUNCH Chapel Hill.
US2020 Happy Hour

This special edition of Happy Hour at The Frontier will be hosted by US2020 RTP, one of the Foundation’s programs that streamlines STEM mentoring in the Triangle. In addition to the usual festivities of free Bombshell brews and great company, we’ll have STEM-themed pub trivia! Trivia winners will receive special prizes, so bring your thinking caps. Anyone and everyone is invited, including US2020 RTP mentors. If you are a STEM professional interested in mentoring and would like to talk to mentors about their experience, this is the perfect opportunity. We look forward to seeing you there!
