Senator Richard Burr, the North Carolina Military Business Center, the North Carolina Military Foundation, University of North Carolina, and the Institute for Defense and Business are pleased to host the 2012 North Carolina Federal Advanced Technologies Symposium on July 16-17, 2012 at the William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
An expansion of the NCMBC’s Federal IT Symposia in 2010 and 2011, the Federal Advanced Technologies Symposium will focus on the future advanced technology needs of DoD and other federal agencies within the state. The objective is to establish a dialogue between industry, academia and government and form partnerships to address the future needs of the federal government to meet the challenges ahead.
The Symposium will include two Military Forums: a Special Operations Forum and a Conventional Forces and Installations Forum. In these forums, Army, Marine, Air Force and other military commands in North Carolina will discuss their current problems in need of technology solutions.
