Challenges of Multi-Product Facility Design for the Manufacture of Biologics
North Carolina's biotechnology industry has matured from an R&D endeavor to a product manufacturing enterprise, creating the need to support new areas of biotechnology. One of these areas is bioprocess development applications research. The North Carolina Biotechnology Center initiated the BioProcessing & Process Development Intellectual Exchange Group to address the needs of this growing area.
The mission of the Bioprocessing & Process Development Symposium is to provide a forum to process development scientists and engineers to discuss the issues they face and to obtain insight into the latest developments by periodically inviting speakers from among their industry peers, technology vendor companies and experts from the regulatory community.
