The Society for Investigative Dermatology (SID) will hold its scientific meeting May 9-12 at the Raleigh Convention Center. This year marks the 75th Anniversary of the Society, so we are planning a variety of special activities to celebrate the rich history of our organization.

Our host city, Raleigh, was named after famed explorer Sir Walter Raleigh. It is a fitting place for our research community to celebrate its anniversary, share advances in cutaneous biology and dermatology, and expand new scientific frontiers.

The SID scientific program incorporates research from multiple specialties and disciplines. It also offers a broad array of special tracks, symposia, and networking sessions. We would like to thank the 2011-2012 Committee on Scientific Programs for their dedication in developing an outstanding program.
