North Carolina Treasurer Janet Cowell and Bob Creeden, Executive Director of the Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network will headline the First Flight Venture Center (FFVC) “Night of Stars” Gala dinner. on May 3rd, 2012 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. This event will be hosted at the beautiful RTP Headquarters building at 12 Davis Drive in the Research Triangle Park.
Past tenants such as SciQuest, United Therapeutics, Ganymede and Bloodhound Software will be honored, along with other former tenants, directors and board members.
FFVC has hosted more than 250 companies and contributed over $800 million to the local economy over the last two decades. First Flight annually hosts more than 39 tenants encompassing multiple technologies. At FFVC, nanotechnologists and bio-agriculturists reside next door to engineers and mobile/social application developers. It is a unique community, all made possible by local support.
